"Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan is a provincial charity raising awareness and funds for the Children's Hospital of Saskatchewan in the areas of pediatric medical research, equipment, enhancements, education and family-centred care."
Saskatchewan is one of the few provinces in Canada that does not have a Children’s Hospital. As organizers of this event, we feel this is a very worthy charity to support. Last year we were able to raise over $1700 for our charity of choice and our goal this year is to raise even more!!!
Denny Carr Secret Santa
"Secret Santa was the brain child of long time Saskatoon broadcaster Denny Carr.
It was his dream that every child in Saskatoon would receive at least one new toy at Christmas. Denny became the driving force behind an annual drive that brings smiles to thousands of children."
Every year the scrapbookers that attend camp are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys to camp to donate so that children in Saskatoon will have a merrier Christmas.
